Straight Outta Compton opens in theaters along with Man From UNCLE

August 14, 2015 | WGVU  Biographical hip hop movie Straight Outta Compton opens in theaters this weekend, along with a big screen adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. WGVU talks with Ron Van Timmeran from Celebration about those two movies and special events taking place in theaters around western Michigan.

August 13, 2015 | WGVU  GRandJazzFest 2015 is Saturday and Sunday with over 9 acts hitting Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. The two day jazz festival will feature a variety of jazz styles, from swinging big band, to modern straight ahead, to smooth jazz. Mike Frost Project 2.0 is one of the groups performing on Saturday, at 3:30pm. WGVU has this feature interview with the leader.
